Imam Al-Muallami’s comments on Imam Al-Shawkani through his book: (Al-Fawaid Al-Majmu’ah) A Critical Study.

Abstract

This research studies Imam Al-Muallami’s comments on Imam Al-Shawkani through his book “Al-Fawaid Al-Majmu’ah.” The research dealt with the definition of Imam Al-Shawkani and Al-Mualami. It dealt with Al-Mu’alami’s follow-ups of Al-Shawkani’s delusions with regard to graduation, controlling the names of narrators, al-jarh, modification, and attributing hadiths to their original sources. The study reached several results, the most important of which is that Al-Muallimi traced a number of Al-Shawkani’s delusions in his book Al-Fawa’id Al-Majmu’ah. Al-Muallimi himself fell into several delusions in his comments on Al-Shawkani.
