This research dealt with the political effects of the transfer of the Sanusi center from Jaghbub to Kufra on the surrounding powers such as the Ottoman Empire, the African kingdoms, as well as French colonialism. We show through the study how the Ottoman authorities were overwhelmed and were going through a phase of weakness that made them vulnerable to the ambitions of the foreign countries that were inciting them. On the Sanusiyya, which made it move its center to Kufra to get away from the Ottoman authorities On the one hand, to limit the French advance in the African kingdoms and to protect the southern Barcelona on the other hand.
