Study analyzing the impact of knowledge development for rural women for home food industries (a case study in the areas of Omar Al-Mukhtar and Masah in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar region of Libya)

The research aims to identify some of the personal, social, economic and communication characteristics of rural women, determine the level of their knowledge in the field of some food industries, identify the most critical problems they face and propose solutions in the research area, identify needs and develop extension programs stemming from actual needs and increase their production, increase national income in general and improve the standard of living in particular. The study concluded with the most important results: the age group of (young and middle-aged women) constituted 41% of the respondents and 93% of those with intermediate and higher education, and it was found that 55% of them work, and 75% have farm tenure, and it became clear from the results that the variety that is manufactured by most of the respondents is pickled by 57%, and the research recommended paying attention to providing programs for rural women through agricultural extension to increase their knowledge in the field of food industries and highlight their importance and relationship to increasing family income.
